The collection contains papers written for the Religion 216 class of David Holmes. Titles include "The other side of the tracks -- Belmont, Ridge Street, West Main street, Charlottesville, Va." which studied several Victorian structures especially First Baptist Church, Hinton Avenue Methodist church, and Monticello Wesleyan church. Also "A weekend in Victorian Winchester"; "Victorian Harrisonburg, Virginia"; "Victorian architecture in the Roanoke Valley"; "Victorian architecture in Warrenton, Virginia"; "A Victorian tour of Leesburg and Waterford, Virginia"; "A study of Victorian architecture and church history in Marion, Virginia"; and "Victorian architecture in Smithfield and Franklin." Papers are accompanied by photographs, maps, postcards, sketches, church bulletins and assorted ephemera. The paper on Charlottesville includes an account of a brief interview with Mrs. Benjamin Bunn.
